Overmold-SUS Stainless Steel Plate Integrated Into Silicone Base

Feature:

The stainless steel plate integrated into the silicone base completely, no steel exposure in the air, this solution can stop the steel plate to be etched from the environment,It can pass Salt-Fog testing.

The regular steel plate thickness is approx 2.0mm for the integration.

A black coating on the steel plate surface, for an aesthetics purpose.

This steel plate can increase the soft keypad base strength, to make the silicone base as thin  and strong as possible to save the device inner space.

Application:

For harsh environment, Marine(fishing, navigation) devices, outdoor devices.
